ASSAF GRUBBER is a filmmaker and artist who lives and works in Berlin. His solo exhibitions include the Berlinische Galerie (2018) and the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw (2018). His films have been featured in festivals including the Berlinale Film Festival and the International Short film Festival of Oberhausen.
He arrived at the Write Retreat in Mallorca as part of an award he won for script development at the Feature Expanded program and the Lo schermo dell’arte Film Festival, Florence.
After the residency, he presented his project Inside Guillaume at FidLab Marseilles where he won the Camargo Foundation Award. He is presently in pre-production with it.
