Who can apply?
Committed filmmakers, screenwriters and directors from all over the world with a feature film or serialized drama or documentary project in development or an artistic project of any form intended for moving image, and/or dramatic performance.
​
Ideally you are up against a deadline, in between drafts or need dedicated time with your co-writer, director or producer and you are in need of insightful feedback, and dedicated guidance for your project

The Write Retreat Includes:

Individual Script consultation with Gyula Gazdag, Trey Ellis and Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten

Ground transportation from Palma de Mallorca (city center) to Finca Fangar

Lodging in a beautiful cozy en-suite room to yourself (with a fire place)

Incredible environment where you can always find your writing space

Brainstorming sessions, inspirational talks.

Wholesome & delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and Dinner) made with local produce and love by the award winning chef Deborah's Culinary Island

Things to consider:

Shortlisted applicants will be notified by email and a zoom meeting will be scheduled accordingly.

To confirm your attendance a deposit fee of 1250 Euros is required. This fee is non-refundable as it covers our administrative expenses.

The fees is 3520 Euros per project/per person
-
It is possible to apply as an individual or as a team of co-writers & directors. However, there will be an additional charge for any additional person attending the retreat.

Collaborative groups present one application per project.
-
A good knowledge of English is essential to participate in the retreat as all script consultations and group discussions will be in English.

Submitted materials should be in English or have English subtitles/translation.

The retreat is located in Campanet, 45 minutes from Palma De Mallorca, Spain. There are direct flights from all main European cities to Palma De Mallorca airport (PMI) ​​
